Title: Association of high sensitive C-reactive protein with severity of coronary artery lesion
Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between the intensity of coronary artery lesions and the level of highsensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP).Methods A total of 282 suspective patients were performed coronary artery angiography. The levels of hs-CRP and the intensity of coronary artery disorder were recorded.ResultsThe level of hs-CRP in CHD group was markedly higher than that in normal group(P 0.05).The levels of hs-CRP in 2 branch and 3 branch lesions subgroup were markedly higher than that in single branch subgroup(P 0.05).The levels of hs-CRP increased with index of coronary arterial lesion(P 0.05).The levels hs-CRP levels were positively correlated with the extent and index of coronary arterial lesion(P 0.05). Conclusion Hs-CRP increase along with aggravation in the severity of coronary lesion.
