Title: Discussion on hazards of Pb in coal to the environment
Abstract: The trace-element Pb in coal, fly ash, coal ash and the soil near coal pile was determined and the leaching experiment of raw coal and bottom ash was carried out to investigate the hazards of Pb in coal to environment in this paper. The results show that for most of the coal, the content of Pb is high and enriched in soil near the coal pile, fly ash and bottom ash.Further more, the smaller the particle size of fly ash,the higher is the enriched Pb content, and the rate of Pb leaching is higher under the condition of acid.Because of the long-term cumulative effects of acid rain in the natural environment, the pollution of Pb in coal to the environment and groundwater cannot be ignored.
