Title: Study on the factors influencing the recurrence of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis
Abstract: Objective To explore the influencing factors of the recurrence of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis and provide bases for the development of nursing interventions.Methods A total of 167 patients with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis,who received non-surgical treatment in the department of vascular surgery from February 2004 to April 2008,were divided into two groups according to having the recurrence or not within a year and half.The data were retrospectively collected by home visit or telephone follow-up.Results Age,the time from having first symptoms to receiving treatment,health status after discharge,compliance of timely taking oral anticoagulation drugs and wearing protective elastic socks or bandages when getting out of bed were the impacting factors of the recurrence of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis.Conclusion To prevent from the recurrence of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis,nurses should strengthen follow-up to increase the treatment compliance of discharged patients,especially for older patients and patients with poor health condition.
