Title: Effect of Heat Treatment Process on Microstructure and Properties of 3Cr2W8V Steel
Abstract: Heat treatments including isothermal spheroidizing,quenching,and tempering at different temperatures were carried out on 3Cr2W8V steel surface.The effects of heat treatment process on the microstructure and properties of 3Cr2W8V steel were studied by microstructure analysis and mechanical properties testing.The results show that globular or blocky perlite are obtained by isothermal spheroidizing,the shapes of carbide are improved at the same time.Hardness rises in advance then falls with the increase of tempering temperature when 3Cr2W8V steel quenched at 1070 ℃ and tempered twice at 580 ℃,630 ℃,680 ℃ and 730 ℃,while toughness presents the reverse variation trend.The better comprehensive mechanical properties of 3Cr2W8V steel can be got,when it is quenched at 1070 ℃ after isothermal spheroidizing and tempered around 680 ℃.
