Title: Study on the AIP Production Process Improvement Based on Value Stream Horizon
Abstract: In order to improve the enterprise operational efficiency,the optimization of tire production line in AIP Company was studied. First of all,the value stream map was drawn to visualize the status of the production line,the process layout and the activities of the logistics and information flow was analyzed and the value-added and non value-added links existing in the production mode was found out. After that,lean thinking and industrial engineering method was adopted to analyze and improve the production process. Kanban pull and continuous production method was introduced and produced with the beat balance methods,the production cycle and production capacity was improved effectively by compression non-value added time,eliminate information block,reduce the amount of worker and in process inventory,etc. Furthermore,the production process is simplified through methods like process restructuring and optimization,etc.,and the figure of future value streamline was drawn and modified to realize the redesign of the production line. Finally,by contrasting the modification of value stream map,it can found that the enterprise production capacity,equipment utilization and production cycle was improved significantly,and the quality of products was improved together with the reduction of production cost. It also confirmed that value stream map analysis technique is an effective way to improve the efficiency of enterprise production,a powerful tool for enterprises to implement lean manufacturing,and worth refereeing and promoting for the enterprise.
