Title: Effects of applying bio-manure on growth and content of aroma in flue-cured tobacco
Abstract: Effects of applying bio-organic fertilizer in addition of conventional treatment on content of main aroma components were studied through field trials to improve content of aroma in tobacco and reduce cost of fertilizers. Results showed that 1) applying bio-organic fertilizer had different effects on each growth index, including root volume, fresh root quality, plant height, stem girth, and leaf area which were increased in maximum by 37.56%,18.72%,59.15%,6.67%,and 5.61%,respectively.2) applying bio-organic fertilizer with lower application of regular fertilizer effectively improved content of neutral aroma. The content of 9 aroma components was higher than that of control and the phenylethanol was increased by 7.33 times in maximum.3) Among 27 aroma components,18 attainted the highest content in treatment T6,which indicated that T6 treatment can effectively improve aroma content in tobacco.
