Abstract: Purpose:To evaluate the MRI characteristics of spontaneous intracranial hypotension.Materials and Methods:CT features of 1 case and MRI features of 11 patients with spontaneous intracranial hypotension were retrospectively analyzed.1 case received plain MRI scanning only. 10 cases with plain and enhanced MRI scanning,1 case with plain CT scanning. Results:All 11 patients were woman.CT features of 1 case were normal. In MRI,9 cases showed homogeneous diffuse dura mater thickening of the bilateral cerebral and cerebellum tentorium, dura mater of the bilateral cerebral and cerebellum tentorium of all 11 cases showed obvious enhancement.6 cases showed bilateral subdural fluid collections,3 cases with subdural hematoma,3 cases with brain sagging.
