Abstract: Objective To analyze and observe the clinical effect of ultrasound guided puncture and physiological saline flushing in the treatment of breast abscess. Methods 40 cases of breast abscess patients admitted in our hospital from June, 2011 to June, 2012 were chosen. And they were randomly divided into the experimental group and control group with 20 cases in each group, the experimental group was treated with ultrasound guided puncture and physiological saline flushing, the control group was treated with traditional operation therapy. The treatment outcomes of two groups of patients were compared and analyzed. Results By comparison, it was found that there was no significant difference in cure rate between two groups of patients. However, the clinical effect of ultrasound guided puncture and physiological saline flushing on breast abscess is more obvious compared with that of the traditional mode of operation with many advantages such as lower cost, no significant pain, and no bleeding and so on. Conclusion Ultrasound guided puncture and physiological saline flushing adopted in the treatment process of breast abscess patients have significant clinical effect and many advantages and important value in clinical application.
