Title: Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Copper(II) Complex of 3-Carboxylsalicylaldehyde and 1,10-Phenanthroline
Abstract: A copper(Ⅱ) ternary complex [Cu(sal)(phen)]·4H2O was synthesized(sal is the dianion of 3-carboxylsalicylaldehyde,and phen is 1,10-phenanthroline).The crystal structure of the synthesized complex was determined by means of single crystal X-ray diffraction. Results indicate that the synthetic crystal belongs to triclinic system with space group pī.The unit cell parameters are a = 0.673 02(10) nm,b = 1.102 11(19) nm,c = 1.488 3(2) nm,α = 109.275(2)°,β = 91.991(2)°,and γ = 103.514(2)°.Besides,Cu(Ⅱ) in the crystal is four coordinated in a square-plane field.
