Abstract: Confucius,who stands for Confucianism,regarded ceremony and morality as the core elements.The idea that By nature all men are alike,but by education widely different was his fundamental theory and he focused on the ceremony and morality,instead of severe punishment without any reason.The moral education,which is the spiritual self-discipline and incentives sources,could be a way to regulate social ties,maintain social stability and come into being a harmonious society.Confucius' thoughts about education have a great significance for us to build a harmonious society and matain its development.
