Title: Clinical curative effect of using closed negative-pressure wound therapy to treat orthopaedic trauma and wound infection
Abstract: Objective To analyze and compare curative effect of using closed negative-pressure wound therapy to treat orthopaedic trauma and wound infection.Methods 56 cases of trauma patients who had been admitted at orthopedics departmet of our hospital from March 2010 to March 2013 as study objectives.Divided them into observation group and control group randomly,adopted closed negative-pressure wound therapy to treat observation group’s patients,while adopted conventional treatment to control group’s patients,compared these two methods’healing time and happening situations of complications.Results The patients wound healing time was significantly shorter than the control group as a whole,of which less than 30 days to heal patients in observation group than the control group more than 39.29%,P 0.05,differences caere statistically significant.After treatment,the side effects of the observation group was 71.43% less than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Closed negative-pressure wound therapy’s curative effect is better than conventional treatment,and it causes fewer complications,it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
