Abstract: Glycogen determinations were made on the heart, liver, and skeletal muscle of rats with alloxan-produced diabetes mellitus and on the same tissues of untreated controls. The alloxan-treated animals showed a statistically significant increase in glycogen content of heart muscle and a statistically significant decrease in liver and skeletal muscle glycogen.
