Title: Inguinal lymphadenopathy simulating a false aneurysm on color-flow Doppler sonography
Abstract: The development of an inguinal mass in a patient who has undergone transfemoral arteriography raises the possibility of a posttraumatic pseudoaneurysm. Duplex Doppler sonography provides an accurate assessment of the femoral artery in such cases and aids in the distinction between hematoma and pseudoaneurysm [1 , 2]. We report a case in which the clinical and sonographic features of an inflamed inguinal lymph node simulated a pseudoaneurysm.
