Title: A Dynamic Multiple Objective Model of Location Problem of Emergency Logistics Distribution Centers
Abstract: The location of distribution centers has impacts on the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency logistics. In this paper, a mixed integer programming model is proposed that captures many special aspects of emergency logistics but which have not received adequate attention in the literature. The aspects considered include dynamic planning horizon, multi-commodity, multi-echelon and conflict decision objectives. The minimization of total cost, total time traveled and unsatisfied demand over the time horizon are set as the objective functions. The location and amounts of distribution centers and the flows between collection points, distribution centers and demand points per period are determined in the model. Finally, a hypothetic example of planning for emergency logistics is presented to prove the efficacy of the proposed model.
