Title: Selection of Suitable Sites Using GIS and Suggestion of Recommended Application for Regular Citizens
Abstract: This study is to suggest optimal area and priorities that is subjective while considering individual’s values and preferences when selecting suitable residence area for regular citizens. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, residential suitability was derived by stages using big data provided in Open API and GIS as spatial analysis method. Then lastly, measures for selecting priorities and residential areas were suggested. For the selected areas by eup, myeon, and dong level(sub-municipal level divisions), these were created to GIS based visualization data so that regular citizens could more easily and repeatedly search various geographic information. Also, it was developed as an Android application by applying staged residential area selection method onto interface. It is expected that suggestion made in this study which is a GIS based residential area selection method that helps individual’s spatial decision making problem will continue for target area selection of larger city’s development and planning and recommendation of residential area based on individual’s various preferences.
