Mesencephalon and diencephalon were investigated in the same way here. As seen in the precedent paper, catecholaminergic perikarya were more scattered in homologue structures of the sheep, as compared with the rat. Immunocytochemistry revealed more labeled structures than did the histochemical fluorescence method, suggesting a possible lack of dopadecarboxylase in these structures, that are not marked by the Falck technique.Read More
