Abstract: The D Programming Language (http://dlang.org) was developed by Walter Bright and Andrei Alexandrescu. Water Bright wrote the first C++ to native machine code compiler. The D programming Language is somewhat like C++, but with modern programming language features. Unlike Java and C#, D is intended to be implemented with a compiler that generates native machine code. Currently, there are 3 major compilers for the D Programming Language.
