The fi rst copy was found in Cave 1, 1QJudg (1Q6), and was published in 1955. 1 Forty years later, in 1995, two manuscripts from Cave 4: 4QJudg a (4Q49) and 4QJudg b (4Q50) were published. 2 In 2001, a fragment of an additional manuscript of Judges held in the Sch ø yen collection (MS 2861) was published by James Charlesworth, and was labeled XJudges. 3 This fragment includes
