Gillett, F. C. Abstract Spectrophotometric observations of Titan, covering the range between 7.8 and 13.3 microns with a resolution of approximately 0.02 wavelengths, are presented. The resulting spectrum is in excellent agreement with the predicted spectrum based on an inversion model for Titan's atmosphere. In addition to emission bands of methane and ethane, evidence is found for emission by acetylene, ethylene, and monodeuterated methane.
