Abstract: New demands for regional forecasting and assessments of how public policy decisions affect regions have produced new developments in multiregional modeling. One tool for assessing key economic, environmental, and energy impacts is the Multi Regional Model of the Economy, Environment, and Energy Demand (MREEED), which describes the growth of various regions as the national economy expands or contracts, and as various public policies are continued, dropped, or introduced. 52 references, 2 figures, 6 tables
